Indonesian terror mastermind Umar Patek, who was captured in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad in January 2011 and later expedited to Indonesia, has called upon Muslims to go to the Palestinian territories to wage jihad, according to an Indonesian website.

“While advising people not to commit acts of terror in Indonesia,” according to the report on the website of The Jakarta Globe, Umar Patek said, “people should go to Palestine to commit jihad.”

“If you want to do jihad, do it in another country such as Palestine, where Islamic people need help,” he said on June 7 while urging all Muslim activists not to commit acts of terrorism in Indonesia.
