On November 28, 2016, a pro-ISIS Telegram tech channel posted guidelines for ISIS supporters to help them avoid automatic suspensions of new Twitter accounts that they open following suspension of their previous accounts, and to avoid having their phone numbers blocked
The post advises ISIS supporters on Twitter who find that their accounts are being suspended after tweeting for the first time to uninstall the Twitter app from their devices, to change the device’s data using a device ID changer app, to reboot their device, and then to reinstall the Twitter app.
The channel also posted guidelines for ISIS supporters whose phone numbers, which are obtained by the texting and calling app TextNow, are being blocked by twitter.
