Pro-ISIS Hacking Group Praises Former Member’s Efforts In Wake Of Arrest, Warns Of Perils Of Cyber Jihad

On October 23, 2016, the pro-Islamic State (ISIS) hacking group United Cyber Caliphate (UCC) released a PDF document on their Telegram channel focusing on the recent arrest of one of the group’s members. The group uploaded three versions of the document in Arabic, English and French. The document reveals that the hacker who was arrested is a 26- year old Kuwaiti citizen. The letter also briefly mentions that three other hackers have been arrested, but their real identities and their fates are still unknown.
