On June 1, 2017, the Nasher News Agency, a top online disseminator of Islamic State (ISIS) content, published a poster expressing appreciation for ISIS supporters’ work on Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube and Instagram.
The poster, which was accompanied by a brief thank you note, shows two ISIS fighters, one of whom is throwing a spear with the Telegram logo superimposed on it. Across the top of the poster are the symbols of Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube and Instagram. The poster itself is a doctored version of a well-known scene from a January 2017 ISIS video revealing the group’s attack drone capabilities, showing the fighter releasing an armed drone to the skies.
