Hamas Complains Of Facebook Suspending Accounts

On January 7, 2017, it was reported that Hamas had criticized Facebook after the social media company had blocked dozens of the movement’s accounts and pages on its service in the wake of a social media campaign launched by the group promoting the activities of its first bomb manufacturer. A spokesman for Hamas, Husam Badran, said that Facebook had suspended more than 90 pages in support of Hamas, along with 30 personal accounts affiliated with the group.
