An English-speaking fighter who is supposedly based somewhere in the vicinity of Latakia Governorate in Syria, is promoting, via his Twitter account, a secure email service called Tutanota for anyone wanting to send funds. His Twitter byline reads: “Zakat [charity] to bilad as-Sham [Syria] accepted to [email protected]” He provides encrypted mailboxes; the company notes that all data is stored in data centers in Germany.
