Pro-ISIS Hacker Group ‘Sons Caliphate Army’ On Telegram – Sharing Hacks, Threats, Jihad Content

On February 12, 2016, the Cyber Caliphate Telegram account announced the launch a new breakaway group called “Sons Caliphate Army” and provided a link to the new channel.


As of March 21, the page has 615 members and has made 33 posts.




The following pictures are taken from the Sons Caliphate Army (SCA) Telegram channel, such as claims of responsibility for various hacks, including hacks by its partner group – the Cyber Caliphate Army (CCA), as well as SCA’s utilization of the Private Chat option on Telegram.

A previous MEMRI report released on February 23, 2016, highlighted the SCA’s threats against the CEOs of Facebook and Twitter, both of which have recently cracked down on pro-ISIS propaganda and activity.

Sons Caliphate Army Mocks U.S. Cyber Policies


The above posts were retweeted by radical clerics, and some U.S. government practies: “Some of their cyber plans are: Attack the Islamic State’s Internet network; Algorithms to remove IS media from social sites; Attacks on IS Radio Signals; Spread false propaganda to counter Islamic State Dawah [outreach]. This is a clear admittance of defeat by the government of USA in the media battle with the Islamic State. And the truth is, victory of the Islamic State is from the victory of Allah Ta’ala [the Almighty] to His word.”
