On November 25, 2015, the hacker collective Anonymous launched a concentrated cyber-attack on websites and social media accounts associated with ISIS. As part of this attack, the hackers managed to take down the ISIS content dissemination website Isdarat, which had appeared on the Dark Web approximately one week earlier. The attack on Isdarat involved spamming the site with ads for Prozac and Viagra, and included the following message: “Too Much ISIS. Enhance your calm. Too many people are into this ISIS-stuff. Please gaze upon this lovely ad so we can upgrade our infrastructure to give you ISIS content you all so desperately crave.”
