After Publishing State Dept Kill List, Caliphate Cyber Army Telegram Channel Shut Down; New Channel Launched Promising More Hacks, Mocking FBI

May 3, 2016

After leaking the personal info of U.S. State Department employees on April 24, 2016, the pro-ISIS hacking group Cyber Caliphate Army’s Telegram channel was shut down. It is unclear whether the group closed its own channel or whether it was shut down by Telegram administrators.

However, on May 3, 2016, Caliphate Cyber Army launched a new telegram channel, and posted messages mocking the FBI and promising further hacks. Below are a few examples:

“Watch your windows very well. The FBI can’t help you. We will drink from your blood”

“For Individual wolves of America – get ready. We can enter any system. We can access ANY databases. And we get any target we want. ‘Your systems failed.’ ‘And we will CRASH America.’ Yes. It is the Islamic State. UCC. Get ready for next.”
