Iranian Minister: Tehran, Beijing Share Views On Cyber Regulation

On June 11, 2015, Iranian Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi said that Iran and China share similar views on regulation of cyber activities. After meeting with Chinese Minister of Cyberspace Administration Lu Wei and other government officials in Beijing, Vaezi told the IRNA news agency that the two countries were working towards bilateral agreements on this topic. He also said they had signed a cooperation agreement in the field of fiber optics, and that they were working towards several other agreements in aerospace and telecommuncations.
