On August 22, 2016, the Iranian Cyber News Agency reported that a file system vulnerability in the website of the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) was discovered by a female hacker under the name Nafiseh Hosseinzadeh, or “N_H,” who reported her discovery to CXSecurity.com. The report claims that in the U.S. and Europe, work by women in the field of hacking is often not noticed or not present. It goes on to laud Iranian society for giving both “brothers and sisters” the opportunity to highlight vulnerabilities in insecure websites.
